Best Vegetarian Places To Eat in Salida
Salida iis an adorable and quaint town in the mountains of Colorado. Very family friendly with lots of shops, outdoor activities and surprisingly good eats!
Whenever I travel I always look for spots that have plant based food options. So if you’re visiting Salida and are a veggie based eater like me, then keep on reading to find out the best vegetarian places to eat in Salida.

- Bunny and Clydes
First and foremost Bunny and Clydes! I adore this little café. It’s located right across from the Mandala Collective, which is where I did my Reiki training. You can read more about Reiki here.
They have yummy smoothies, lattes and delicious wraps and Indian inspired food. If you eat plant based you’ll find an array of options here.

2. Manipura Juice Company
Go to this place for an afternoon pick me up of freshly squeezed juices. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. He really promotes a healthy lifestyle and swears by his fruit and veggies juices.
Grab a refreshing juice to go and take a walk down to Riverside Park to enjoy the river views during the warmer months.

3. Amicas Pizza & Microbrew
I adore this restaurant for their many options on the menu that cater to vegan and gluten free lifestyles. They have gluten free pizza crust and dairy-free cheeses.
My go-to meal was always the eggplant panini but you can’t go wrong with pasta, pizza or salad.

4. Little Red Hen Bakery
This spot really surprised me! Such a tiny little bakery but boy do they know how to bake. I only ate here once, on literally my last day in Colorado.
Luke and I stopped her for breakfast sandwiches before we hit the road. The only thing that disappointed me was that I didn’t discover it sooner.
I have to give it to Little Red Hen for making the most delicious bagel I’ve ever tasted and I’m from NYC so that’s saying a lot!

5. High Side Bar and Grill
I had to give this grill pub a spot on the list purely for the buffalo cauliflower wings. It’s rare to ever see that on a bar menu, so it impressed me! Surprisingly they had some more veggie based options then most others bars I’ve been to.
So stop here if you want some quick bar food and a cold draft.
TO SUM IT UP
As you can see Salida’s food scene really surprised me. They do have a big community of wellness and health conscious people so that most likely adds to the more veggie based food choices.
If you’re in the area and are looking for a good bite to eat you can’t go wrong with any of the places on the list.
